You are right that was an amazing blog entry.

The problem is all your entries and correspondence could be like that.

No one ever (in this country) has to work for a lousy boss, or in lousy conditions, or with vexatious coworkers, or in dngerous conditions.

If you are not happy where you are at find a better place to work. If you can't find a company to work for whee you are at move. If you still can't find one open your own.

The problem I have with most of the crap on this site is that people are assumed not to have responsibility for where they work, that everything should be perfect everywhere. If everyone refused to work for the shitty business owner how long do you think he would stay in business. If everyone hired in a particular company to work for an idiot quit the first day or turned down the job how long before the idiot's bosses get rid of him.

By not taking steps to help yourself you are perpetuating poor working conditions for everybody else as well.

WAKE UP. This is still (at least today)the land of opportunity. It does not knock just once. It knocks every day over and over. Answer it!

On your placeholder idea. Don;'t let perfect be the enemy of good. Consider the 80% rule as well.
