I wanted to add a horrific employer to the worst employer list.Sears has become the worst employer to work for since the merger(hostile take over)by Eddie Lambert and Kmart. They offer no pay raises; no career pathing; they practice unethical hiring practices. They cut hours so low that you cannot pay your rent or other bills. At every turn they take away more and more tools needed to provide exceptional customer service. If you apply for an upward position in your store they disregard your application and hire from other stores or of the streets. Consutative sales people make 6.00 an hour + 1.52 percent commission and the refuse to increase the base to minimum wage so when no customers come in we make 6.00 and hour.

I think this qualifies as the wrong type of problem. We work for a boss who is very demanding and belives that work is a one way street. We have not been paid in 2 months, yes two months, and still have insurance but can't use it without the risk of being stuck with the cost of procedures if and when it is cancled for non payment of wages. We have been lied to that the primium for the insurance is paid in full only to find out that it is still in suspension for being behind for 30 to 60 days.
The company is looking for an employee for our department and we wonder how we can work with anyone who left a job to come here.
